Turn the fan switch to an on setting, and verify you are getting voltage at the blower motor. On high, the voltage should be close to ~ 12 Volts. If voltage is steady, then this confirms that you are getting power to the blower motor, but the blower motor is not turning.

If the engine coolant temp sensor is bad it could give a false signal to the PCM, making it think the engine is hot and causing the message. Since you aren't overheating I don't see any reason not to drive the truck until you get home and can visit the dealer.
